SECTORS 11 VERTICALS

Every sector has a different
corrosion problem.

Seawater, acid vapour, constant vibration, high temperature or foot traffic… The conditions that challenge a coating differ in every sector. Our portfolio is organised around these conditions; we select the system based on the real load of the site rather than the sector.

SECTORS WE SERVE

Select your sector.

Each card shows the typical exposure for that sector and its ISO 12944 equivalent. This mapping is for guidance only; the exact category is determined by a site inspection report based on the site's own conditions.

HOW TO SELECT A SYSTEM

The sector is the starting point;
the decision rests on three variables.

01

Environment

The site's real corrosivity: distance from the coast, chemical exposure, humidity and temperature cycling. The ISO 12944 category (C1–CX) is derived from this.

02

Target durability

The time required until the first major maintenance. In the same environment, a 7-year and a 25-year target require completely different numbers of coats and film thicknesses.

03

Surface and application

The existing coating, achievable surface preparation (Sa 2½ / Sa 3) and on-site application conditions. This is where the right system is finalised.

Special projects and custom formulations

If you have a non-standard exposure, we develop formulations at our own production plant. Let's look at the site together and build the system together.
