Enter a HEX, RGB, PANTONE, NCS or British Standard code and we will find the perceptually (CIEDE2000) closest match among the 210 RAL Classic colours. The result is based on a calculation that mimics how the human eye perceives colour.
You can also select PANTONE, NCS and British Standard codes directly. For a code not in the list, simply enter that colour's HEX value — the result is found with the same calculation.
Screen colours vary with calibration; before production, use a physical colour chart to verify. For custom colour requests, write to our technical team.
The standard that measures how different two colours appear to the human eye. ΔE < 1 is indistinguishable to the eye, ΔE 1–2 is very close, and ΔE 2–5 shows a slight difference when viewed side by side. We use this calculation instead of simple RGB distance because the eye perceives differences in green tones more sharply than in blues.
Because we operate our own paint and chemicals production facility, we can also produce custom colours outside the RAL range. Send us your sample and we will record the formula, so you get the same colour on repeat orders.
