Points to watch on site.
- There is a risk of saponification on alkaline surfaces (fresh concrete, galvanised steel); a suitable primer is essential.
- Drying takes longer in high humidity; when applied thickly, the surface skins over while the underlying layer stays wet.
- Epoxy/polyurethane systems should be preferred in C4 and higher environments.
