PRODUCTS 8 MAIN FAMILIES

Products selected by chemistry,
working as a system.

Every paint is part of a system. We match primer, intermediate coat and topcoat to work together; we deliver not a standalone product but a working coating system.

SYSTEM LOGIC

Three layers, three separate roles.

Each layer in a coating system has a different job. When choosing a product, look first at the layer's role, then at the environmental load.

PRIMER

Stops corrosion

Adheres to the metal surface, controls corrosion chemically or cathodically, and provides a base for adhesion of the upper coats. Zinc phosphate epoxy or zinc-rich systems perform this role.

INTERMEDIATE COAT

Provides thickness and barrier

Carries the total film thickness of the system; delays moisture, ions and chemicals from reaching the metal. High-solids epoxies are used here.

TOPCOAT

Resists external factors

Withstands UV, chemicals and abrasion and meets aesthetic expectations. Polyurethane and acrylic topcoats retain colour and gloss for a long time.

PRODUCT FAMILIES

Eight main families.

Each card shows the chemistry, the layer in the system and the typical ISO 12944 range. Ranges are for guidance only; the final selection is made according to site conditions.
